Krista Reed
Krista Reed is passionate about helping school leaders create learning environments where all students—especially those with disabilities—can thrive, have fun, and grow every day. She believes that school should be a place where joy and rigor go hand in hand, and where every child is seen, supported, and challenged.
Krista started her career as an elementary special education teacher in a school just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana. She went on to serve as a school-based special education coordinator and then as the Director of Student Support of a charter network. She has gone on to work with teachers as well as district and school leaders as an analyst and consultant, using her love of data and coaching to improve how their schools meet the needs of students with disabilities.
Krista holds a Bachelors of Arts from Drew University. As a military spouse, she has lived and worked in Louisiana, California, Virginia, Kansas, and Maryland. Additionally, she has worked with schools in Vermont, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Massachusetts.
Outside of work she enjoys being outdoors, visiting new children’s museums and theme parks with her husband and two sons, and reading fiction while everyone else is asleep.
